Buy with confidence and security - Many of our products come with a 5 year warranty* or 1 year for commercial use. Look out for the 5 year warranty sign. This allows you to buy with security in the knowledge that we are confident in our products and so should you.
Will the product be suitable for your particular use?
Please do ask questions to determine if the product you are purchasing is of the correct type for your use. This is particularly important when choosing Honda Generators, as we manufacture a wide range of models in many sizes and specifications.
Has the product received a PDI?
A PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) is one of the most important tasks any machine recieves prior to sale. This ensures the machine operates correctly and at the optimum performance when used for the first time. A copy of the completed PDI sheet will be included with the machine. If not please contact us at Lings.com. All of the products on Lings.com have a full Pre-Delivery Inspection by one of our many Honda Licensed Technicians.
What should i recieve with the machine?
When your machine is delivered please ensure all the documentation is supplied e.g owners manual, warranty book/card. Please read these before use, as they will ensure safe operation and optimum performance.
Will my machine be registered for warranty?
Lings Honda will ensure your machine is registered for warranty. All approved Honda dealers have access to an online system, this guarantees your product is registered and the warranty coverage has been activated.
What do i do before using the machine?
Please make sure the correct type of oil is used and the correct level (please refer to owners manual), the fuel tank should also be filled with fresh unleaded fuel.
The above is required as machines cannot be transported containing liquids.

What Honda(UK) Will Repair or Replace Under Warranty:
Honda(UK) will repair or replace, at its option, any part that is proven to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use during the applicable warranty time period. Warranty repairs and replacements will be made without charge for parts or labour. Anything replaced under warranty becomes the property of Honda Motor Company, Inc. All parts replaced under warranty will be considered as part of the original product and any warranty on those parts will expire coincident with the original product warranty.
To Obtain Warranty Service:
You must contact Lings.com or take the Honda Power Equipment product, accessory, replacement part, and proof of purchase, at your expense, to any Honda Power Equipment dealer in Europe who is authorized to sell that product, during the dealer’s normal business hours. If you are unable to obtain warranty service, or are dissatisfied with the warranty service you receive, take the following steps: First, contact the owner of the dealership involved; normally this will resolve the problem. Warranty Exclusions:
This warranty does not extend to parts affected or damaged by accident and/or collision, normal wear, fuel contamination or deterioration, use in an application for which the product was not designed or any other misuse, neglect, incorporation or use of unsuitable attachments or parts, unauthorized alteration, or any causes other than defects in material or workmanship of the product.Tiller tines of roto-tillers, mower blades and mower deck housings, are specifically not warranted against impact damage, including but not limited to, abrasive damage.
Disclaimer of Consequential Damage and Limitation of Implied Warranties:
Honda(UK) disclaims any responsibility for loss of time or use of the product, transportation, commercial loss, or any other incidental or consequential damage. Any implied warranties are limited to the duration of this written limited warranty.This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights.
